TWM Performance has scaled up our very popular Type R shift knob creating the heaviest weighted Type R style shift knob on the market. Since the Big Type R is larger in diameter than our regular Type R shift knob, we can now offer it in a reverse lock compatible format, the Big Type R RL.

Weighing in at 565 grams, the world famous smooth shape of this shift knob is well known but never before has it been offered with this magnitude and in a reverse lock compatible format. Get JDM styling while substantially improving your shift feel due to the added mass. Now, thanks to NTIS Technology, the Big Type R RL shift knob is available for virtually any car!

The Big Type R RL shift knob is compatible with cars that use a reverse lock mechanism which slides up in to the shift knob to engage reverse. The enlarged opening at the base of the shift knob can accomodate reverse locks up to 1.0" in diameter and a vertical travel of up to 3/4" (0.75").
